However, one note is that if you are looking to purchase them, then make sure that they are unsalted or else you will be undoing the good work of eating them in the first place, since sodium acts as a hypertensive agent.

However, they are also full of both potassium and magnesium, and you should really add them to your diet, even mixing them in with a salad. We recommend that you at least consider including some of these foods into your diet on a regular basis due to the fact that they are known to be able to reduce high blood pressure.
