4. Try New Things

Following a fitness program is an effective approach to getting healthy and strong, but sometimes the same old exercise can get boring or may become inaccessible to you, due to lack of equipment or time. During these instances, you may become de-motivated to continue and make the workout feel more like a chore than a way to enjoy life.
When these things happen, it’s perfectly fine to try something new. It can be something as simple as a new exercise or an entirely new workout routine altogether. You can have someone teach you how to work out using a jump rope or a kettlebell, for example. Lifting heavy is good, but lifting often is better. No matter what new exercise you try, it’s all good as long as the body gets a regular workout.

5. Imagine Yourself on the Beach

If there’s one thing most people work out for, it’s making their bodies look sexy and strong. What better time to show it off than at the beach during summer? Motivating yourself to look better is one of the best ways to keep working out.

If you ever feel like slacking off on your workouts, imagine what you would look like when summer comes by and ask yourself: “Do I look good in a swimsuit?” If the answer is yes, workout to maintain that body. If the answer is no, then now’s the perfect time to get started!
